Got back about an hour ago and thought I’d use my remaining energy from chugging a Kickstart before the show to upload some pictures and share some thoughts!
First, VIP was definitely worth it for this show. Not only did it get me to the front of the meet and greet line, it meant that I could walk in ten minutes before the show and still have seats only a few rows back!
There were five performers and each did two songs (except for Willam/Courtney who did a duet together on top of two individual numbers). This was my first time seeing non-HoH Pittsburgh queens so I was interested to see how they would do. All three did a great job! Unfortunately, my camera kept dying and the few pictures I got of them were blurry so you won’t see them in the album :(
Willam performed a “medley” (read: her telling the DJ to change it whenever she got tired of the song, lol) of “Trouble”, “Christmas Song”, “Let’s Have a Kai Kai” and his own version of “Scream and Shout”. She also did “Boy is a Bottom”. Courtney, meanwhile, sang “To Russia With Love” and Sia’s “Titanium”. If you look at my photoset, you’ll notice pictures of them with a candle - before they performed their duet, they decided to try candling Willam’s ear. Eventually they gave up, though, and did a parody of “Popular” from Wicked.
As far as the meet and greet goes, both were fantastic. I cannot say enough about how sweet and kind Courtney was; I think she could tell that I was nervous and I was very appreciative of that. Willam, meanwhile, was way nicer than I expected plus hilarious as usual. Mostly, he was cruising on my boyfriend but hey, I’ll take that as a compliment on my taste in men!
Hands down, this was my favorite drag show I’ve been to and would happily catch a show with these queens again!

More pictures from Friday night at 6119 in Pittsburgh, PA. It was pretty crowded and really hot but all the queens were amazing troopers.
Jinkx in particular should be commended because she managed to perform an entire set while still looking flawless. I was sweating like a pig in the audience and meanwhile Jinkx is singing and prancing around the stage with not even a hair out of place!
It was also a really nice surprise to have Sharon and Alaska not only attend but briefly perform with Jinkx. Neither were on the bill (though it was a Haus of Haunt show) so it was so great that both showed up!
All in all, a very fun show and hopefully Jinkx will be back to PGH in the future!
My favorite picture I took last night-regardless of the competition, these girls are friends, through and through. :)
Decided it’s time to finally start actually using my Tumblr instead of having three old posts and nothing else. Changed the blog title to fit my current username supergroup and deleted all the old bullshit! I’m starting with a clean slate that will probably be written over in a day with reblogs of drag queens, food and dresses.
